The first thing that caught my eye with these pads was the fabric-it is different from many of the pads out there- so it was a nice change. I also found the shape of the pads to be very appealing- so I ordered two pads, an eight inch and an eleven inch. I normally wear around 8-9 inches in length during the day, so I ordered the eleven inch to be an overnight pad. They came wrapped so thoughtfully with a card included- a nice touch for sure. The pads were even prettier in person and they were very soft to the touch- the fabric seems to be a good quality fabric. The stitching was well done, and the pads are very sturdy- these will last a long time with proper care. I was able to test both pads last week and they worked perfectly for me- no leaks, no bunching, no shifting at all- they stayed where I put them. I like the fact that the eight inch is quite narrow in the crotch- that makes it quite comfortable. Also the fabric washed up just fine, no stains- not sure if that is due to the fabric, or just the way I washed them. One more thing- Amanda's customer service is amazing! She is personable and made sure that the pads were shipped out that very day so I wouldn't have to wait long. I will definitely be buying more Modern Acorn pads!

I have only one of these, but hoping to get some more. Brilliant. I rated them a 5

I have this one: http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y5/naidisbo/Pads/il_430xN15666288.jpg which I wanted to share a pic of because what impressed me most about this pad is the placement of the pattern to the fabric. A lot of thought obviously went into it, which is something special indeed. I've found it to be a very comfortable pad, the contoured shape is very appealing as well as being well fitting... the sewing is very nicely done. This is a favourite pad of mine!

These were the first cloth pads I've ever used and I'm really happy with them. She was very helpful with my custom order. The pads were made and shipped all within about three days.
Love her fabrics and the option of cotton, hemp, or bamboo liner. I ordered three (one 6.5" and two 8.5" pads) and they're very well made and comfortable too. I'll definitely be getting more, if I can catch them. She seems to sell out pretty fast.

Good, fair price

Quality materials - love the original fabrics, but I find it a little uncomfortable, the texture is irritating - but very cute!

Decently sewn - I've seen better sewing on some other pads, but that doesn't make it bad sewing. It won't fall apart I'm sure, but it's not the most evenly stitched. I know that will improve with time.

Decent shipping

Very Happy

gorgeous pads!
I have 3 extra heavy extra long pads and they are lovely, beautiful fabrics and very nicely sewn
I haven't had a chance to test drive these yet, should I have a problem I will post about it. they are very thin and soft, especially for being supers. I feel very confident about them and am looking forward to trying them, tomorrow perhaps Smile

edited to add, I am a very heavy bleeder and had one of her pads (without PUL) for 6 hours without leaking, the pad worked wonderfully. thank you!

These are some of the nicest pads out there. Amanda's attention to detail is phenominal. She picks fabrics that most sellers wouldn't think of. They are top quality and beautiful. She is in my favorite top 2 sellers. The pads hold up wash after wash and still look beautiful. They shape is very comfortable and covers very well. I've never had a leak with Modern Acorn pads. I will definately be adding to my stash from her store!

I love love LOVE Amanda's work. She is so sweet, her packaging is darling, and she goes out of her way to get QUALITY materials. I mean seriously! Right down to the thread! She is also a hard working College Student!

I ordered 2 pads so far from her!
One is an overnight pad with PUL - Happy Clouds. The pad is so well constructed.
Another is a medium pad - Goldfish! This was my very very first one from her.

When I first browsed her pads, I said to myself "hmm. these are kinda pricey." but then when I compared the cheap pads to hers, I noticed a huge difference. Amanda works so so hard on her pads. I'm gonna add 2 more to my stash Very Happy

Amanda's pads are absolutely incredible! The quality is extremely high, the fabrics chic, beautiful and unique and the stitching is strong and oh so very pretty.

I currently have three overnight pads from ModernAcorn. I'm a heavy bleeder and I managed to get through the night not only without leaking everywhere due to overflow, but feeling dry and comfortable (and not having to waddle to the loo in the morning!! ;) ). I will be getting a better night's sleep now knowing that I won't be waking up to anymore unpleasant surprizes!

Amanda's customer service is absolutely wonderful; she really cares about what she does and she wants people to be happy with their pads. The pads come beautifully wrapped with a sweet little card and the whole experience is very lovely and personalized.

As for the pricing of these pads, I'm amazed at how inexpensive they are! Amanda clearly uses quality, designer fabrics and these do not come cheaply. The snaps are also of a very high quality and so is the cotton as well as the inner layers. I'll be buying more soon! I cannot say enough good things about Amanda's pads :).

*edited to add the pretty pictures I took of these wonderful pads before I rudely bled on them ;).

I have a pad and a liner from ModernAcorn. They are both lovely and well made. I really like the new size she has too (2.5" wide). My husband has commented that it's a very "sturdy" pad (this is a compliment from a man! LOL). They are a great great value for the price -- definitely. I will probably buy more from her.

I have a few modern acorn pads - especially the light pads and I just adore them!

The cotton tops are good when you're out and about on a warmer day and the contoured shape is PERFECT for me. No chaffing or rubbing, it just feels really snug and comfy.

Her pads are beautiful and the fabric is really well placed. She really takes care with how the pad looks and you can tell these are not mass produced pads.

Super great customer service - I highly recommend modern acorn. The only thing that bugs me is that it can be hard to get hold of one ! Razz

ModernAcorn is one of the best sellers out there!!! Absolutely amazing customer service and super fast shipping. Her pads are so gorgeous! I love the high end fabrics that are used and each pad is like a little art piece! The quality is simply outstanding and they are always wrapped nicely. 5 out of 5 for sure.
